This international research project explores the specifics of gestalt therapy training around the world.
The study aims to compare training conditions, ethical standards, theoretical foundations, exam requirements, costs, duration, and program structures at gestalt institutes across all continents and in the world's major languages.

The research is conducted in three main stages:

The results of the first stage are available in the results presentation.
We are conducting qualitative interviews with four groups of participants:
These interviews provide a deeper understanding of the learning experience, institutional values, and differences in educational practices.
Building on the knowledge from the first two stages, we are developing a comprehensive questionnaire aimed at understanding therapists' views on training. Topics include the strengths and challenges of their educational experience, ethical considerations, theoretical orientation, and professional identity.
This study aims to explore fundamental questions:
Through this project, we aim to foster dialogue, raise professional standards, and support the ongoing development of gestalt therapy education worldwide.
